Hello Bill – Yes I only just missed you . When you moved to the dockyard Comcen I was on loan draft from Kranji to a minesweeper (HMS Yarnton) followed by 3 weeks on the Albion. The Fleetpool lads were chucked out of Kranji in early December 1969 and relocated to Terror Barracks and I too . spent 5 weeks at the dockyard Comcen before flying back to the UK 7th January 1970. Got a temporary draft to the Signal Training School at Drake Barracks. The OIC was Lt Briggs (think he was a Lt). Then moved to Portishead Radio in June 1970 for a wonderful 16 months. Regards Alan

I was at Kranji sometime in 68 transferred from Houghton with a broken wrist. Worked with the chief and the sergeant and remember the monkey that must have been someone’s pet. Wonderful place, didn’t want to return to Houghton.

Hi all. I was living in Rose Cottage, Kranji from Feb 67 to July 68. Went from pure innocence to debauched cynic, but apart from that is was amazing and memorable.
