Everchanging Singapore

Dynamic Singapore changes so fast… that many places have been demolished to make way for the new ones.

The purpose of this blog is to capture the moments of the current old places in Singapore (although some have been demolished recently), and bring back the precious memories they once provided.

The creation of this blog is also inspired by Royston Tan’s Old Places on okto.

I am a Japanese living in Japan. I visited Singapore four times in 2018 and 2019 for business and sightseeing. I have stayed in Singapore only 30 days totally. Today I visited this interesting site for the first time. I will sometimes visit this site.

You are doing such wonderful work. I’m an 80’s kid; I grew up and lived in Sg from 1984-1995. I stumbled upon this blog while searching for some old shopping centers in Singapore… Not only am I overjoyed but am also incredibly relieved to know that someone is archiving with such dedication of the everchanging landscape of this little dot we love.
